Motorcycle Adventures and Art

There is a menagerie of creatures just east of Anza-Borrego State Park, scattered around the town of Borrego Springs in Southern California.  Some are in plain sight, some are reserved for the brave.  Some are familiar and some are bizzare.  I don’t know how brave we are, but we set out on our motorcycles to experience this world for ourselves.

“Galleta Meadows Estate is privately-owned desert estate land that consists of many separate plots in Borrego Springs, California and that features over 130 large metal art sculptures. The sculptures were created by Southern California artist Ricardo Breceda via commission from Dennis Avery, the owner of Galleta Meadows.”*
