We have made a lot of modifications to Homie the RV, the majority being functional, practical or performance-based. After a year, however, Homie still didn’t feel well… homey. So, we added a few inexpensive and easy to do decorative touches that make me smile, relax and feel right at home.
We have seen amazing things, so we used our personal photos to decorate our home on wheels. The photos were printed and mounted on lightweight gatorboard. We also added a full-height mirror to create light and depth in a small area.
We spice up our cabinets with contact paper. We wanted a subtle shine, but you could also go wild with color. This an easy and changeable diy.
A couple of pretty seat cushions add color and comfort.
We added a tapestry as a headboard and covered the overhead led light to create a soft glow. Every night we sleep under the stars. Still on the hunt for a quilt or blanket to compliment
As with any home, there is still more we want to do, but these small tweaks make me happy. Do you have a quick and easy RV home decor projects you love?
